How it works
Anti-Foam's silicone defoaming agents collapse existing foam quickly, and the residual ingredients keep new foam and scum blankets from forming, making pump-outs easier and safer.
How to use
- Spray as evenly as possible, 2.5 to 5 gallons monthly into a 500,000-gallon pit. Increase the dose for severe foaming.
- For best results, drip-feed into the influent stream before foam forms. Normal rates range from one quart to one gallon per 10,000 gallons of wastewater.
- To remove a heavy scum blanket in a digester, spray a light mist over the foam with a portable sprayer, then continue drip-feeding into the influent stream.
Disturbing hog pits and/or pit foam can release flammable gases. Before applying this product, make sure ventilation prevents flammable gases from building up, and put out all possible ignition sources, including heaters and electrical equipment. Do not smoke. Failure to follow these instructions may result in a fire or explosion, which can cause property damage, injury or loss of life.
